Transforming a Narrow Living Room

One of our recent projects involved a living room that felt narrow and unbalanced due to its extra-tall ceilings. To bring harmony to the space, we designed and built a custom decorative cement wall with a mountain-inspired shape.

This unique feature not only became a striking focal point but also visually expanded the width of the room. To enhance the effect, we incorporated layered lighting—washing the wall with soft illumination and adding decorative fixtures at different heights. The result was a dramatic yet inviting atmosphere, where thoughtful design and craftsmanship turned a challenging layout into a stunning, comfortable space.

Opening Up a Kitchen with Low Ceiling

Our solution was to play with materials and finishes to create the illusion of space. By wrapping the wall treatment seamlessly up onto the ceiling, we drew the eye upward and made the room feel taller. A slim built-in table provided functionality without crowding the space, while glossy wall finishes helped reflect light throughout the room. Combined with additional layered lighting, the kitchen became airy, bright, and welcoming—proof that thoughtful design can completely reimagine even the most compact spaces.
